SURVEYS:
Human Resources Survey 2005
-
One of the first surveys completed for the Personnel Study
was of the chief human resources officers
and their staff members, which was presented to LOCEA on November 14,
2005. The survey looked at
employees’ education, experience, training,
and the scope of work being performed by our institutions’ human
resources departments. The survey suggests we have a well-educated and
experienced cadre of human resources employees but that we could do
better in the area of training and development. To access the

Professional Development Surveys 2007 & Draft Report

In accordance
with its charge, the Professional Development Committee completed two
surveys and subsequent analysis to facilitate its recommendations to be
put forth by HEPC, which will be presented to LOCEA on July 29, 2008.
The first survey was sent to all human resource professionals at each
institution and agency.
The second survey was distributed system-wide to all
higher education employees, which included classified and non-classified
